Things to do in Albufeira Balaia Golf Village is approximately 25 km from the international airport of Faro. Beaches:
Balaia golf village
is located along the coast of Albufeira, the nearest beaches are Maria
Lusia and Santa Eulalia, both are within walking distance. Other local beaches include Praia Oura and
Albufeira Old Town beach.
There is
also a weekly Market in the local towns of Lagos and Loule. Restaurants: The village is ideally located for the neighbouring new and old towns of Albufeira, both have a wide selection of restaurants. Shopping: The Algarve Shopping Mall is along the N125. Traditional and modern shops can also be found in Oura (1.5km), Olhos d'Agua (2 km) or in Albufeira (5 km). Golf: Balaia Golf Village has an extensive 9 hole golf course, a fifty bay driving range, practice holes, putting green, plus a golf shop and golf pro. The neighbouring town of Vilamoura has four championship standard Golf Courses. Excursions and Activities: There are various activities and excursions available nearby including visits to Water parks, Zoo Marine Park, Cruises, Sandy Beaches and attractive Coastal Walks.
